James C. Soft is President of Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch Foundation in Billings, Montana. Jim has over 35 years experience in the charitable sector, most of which has been spent working with donors and institutions in planned giving development. He is a Certified Financial Planner® and holds a Masters in Personal Finance from the College of Financial Planning. Jim is the principal of James C. Soft and Associates, offering planned giving consultation and mentoring for charities with new or established planned giving programs. Jim Soft is a current board member of the American Council on Gift Annuities and also director on the board of the Montana Nonprofit Association. Jim is a contributing author to “Building Endowments Right from the Start” by Lynda Moerschbaecher, J.D., M.B.A., and is a member of a national ad hoc group working toward extending and enhancing charitable IRA incentive legislation. |
