Ilana Ormond
Vice President Philanthropic Services for the Ventura County Community Foundation (VCCF)
Ilana R. Ormond is Vice President, Philanthropic Services for the Ventura County Community Foundation (VCCF). She began her nonprofit career nearly twenty years ago as the Coordinator of Major Gifts for the American Film Institute. In 1992, she was named Gift Planning Coordinator for the Motion Picture & Television Fund Foundation, where she developed its first planned giving program. Three years later, she joined the staff of the National Jewish Medical & Research Center, where she was responsible for the development of a Major and Planned Gifts Program to serve the western United States.
In 1999, Ilana became the Director of Planned Giving for the Los Angeles Jewish Home and a lecturer in Planned Giving at Hebrew Union College/USC’s dual degree graduate program. She joined VCCF in August of 2007 as the Director of Planned Giving and was promoted to her current position in March, 2009. Ilana serves as a faculty member for VCCF’s Center for Nonprofit Leadership and is currently on the board of the PPP-Ventura County. She is a past president of the PPP – Greater Los Angeles and a former Western Regional Planned Giving Conference Chair. |
