Founder Philanthromax
In August of 2009 Rob founded Philanthromax, a firm specializing in providing products and services for America’s largest charities and America’s largest philanthropic companies. The mission of Philanthromax is to improve the revenue, reputation and effectiveness of America’s largest companies and charities.
Rob has invested his 28 year career in the non-profit world. Before starting Philanthromax, Rob spent 11 years in fund raising management at the American Cancer Society. During his tenure with the ACS, Rob held the titles of Executive Director of the Planned Giving Business Unit, National Vice President of Distinguished Gifts, National Vice President of Income Development, and as the first ever ACS Chief Development Officer. In addition, Rob served for five years as the President of the American Cancer Society Foundation.
In his roles at ACS, Rob brought sales-based accountability to the planned giving and major gifts for the first time. During his tenure as ACS Chief Development Officer, Rob led the greatest period of growth in ACS income in its 95 year history culminating in ACS’s first $1 billion year in 2007. The 10 largest gifts in ACS history were all made during Rob’s tenure at ACS. |
